Although 2020 presented many unexpected challenges to health systems globally, GAIA staff, dressed head-to-toe in full personal protective equipment (PPE), managed to maintain essential primary healthcare and integrated HIV services through our Elizabeth Taylor Mobile Health Clinics, missing only 2% of scheduled days due to the pandemic. In addition, GAIA nursing scholars continued focusing on their studies through school closures, with 100% of new graduates passing their licensing exams in January, now ready to enter the Malawi healthcare workforce.

We have much to celebrate and much to look forward to as we look ahead to our next milestone, achieving 95-95-95 HIV treatment for men, women and children by 2025. Thank you for your generous support as our work would not be possible without it!
