Last year, we celebrated 20 years of GAIA’s profound impact on the HIV/AIDS crisis in Malawi. Now, it is time to usher in a new era of growth. Although 2021 has brought extended challenges to healthcare in Malawi as the dedicated GAIA staff and healthcare workers continue fighting COVID-19 on the frontlines, our partnerships, relationships, and team members have only grown stronger and more determined to continue delivering high quality and consistent healthcare to as many Malawians as possible.
Have you ever wondered what a day in the field looks like as a frontline healthcare worker in Malawi? Or what your generously donated money directly funds? We invite you to witness a day in the life of a frontline worker with us as we see, up close and personal, the hard work and dedication it takes to provide these essential health services every day.
In addition, Joyce Jere will present the GAIA Global Citizen Award to the Gruber Family Foundation in recognition of their founding support for the GAIA Nursing Scholar Program -- a program that has launched the careers of more than 500 frontline healthcare workers today.
Join us on June 27th, 2021 at 5:00pm PT as we celebrate all those who make this work possible, from our dedicated staff members, to our generous funders, to each and every person who supports the work we do.
